In the fall of 2012, childhood friends Molly Martin and Andrea Mohn founded Antoinette Baking Co. in a ridiculously small space in Tulsa’s historic Brookside neighborhood. Molly realized her passion for baking during her pursuit of the perfect macaron, which she documented in her blog, The Velvet Macaron. It was 2009, blogs were a thing. That obsession is still alive and well. Andrea started baking bread and cakes for loved ones at home, culminating in the creation of a 6-tier wedding cake for her sister. It was a massive undertaking, but she couldn’t get enough. In 2015, with a dedicated customer base and having outgrown their humble beginnings, the bakery moved to the Tulsa Arts District on the edge of downtown. Molly and Andrea believe every day can (and should) be a celebration. And celebrations require baked goods. It’s just that simple.
